![]() At the start of a game each commander has access to only one Faction but via diplomacy or conquest one can get access to potentially all Factions. They strive to live in symbiosis with other life forms. Factions come in two types: Primary Combatant Factions and Non-Primary Combatant (NPC) Factions. Growth - Intelligent plants escaped from biotech company Terra Tech. (or am I just missing something, please tell me!)Įven if you manage 2 coexist peacefully with the AI, (good luck.) chanches are that they sit on a lot of important resources, and are bordering you, preventing you from expanding.Īnd finally, Age of wonders 3 did not have this problem at all. The game recognizes the following NPC factions (NPC is short for Non-Primary Combatants): Autonom - Robots from the emergency services that have developed their own autonomous AIs after the central network of CORE went down. And just to spray salt in the wound, their terms are egregious. My only option is to sue 4 peace, with an enemy I`ve already killed. I manage 2 destroy their army at great cost, as one of my 3 cities is now completely taken over by the Amazones, however (once again)I am not given the option of destroying the dvelling that I just captured. I am forced to use my entire army 2 deal with this, and (whishing 2 end this 2 front war ASAP) I ignore the Amazons in order to destroy the dvelling. Meanwhile, even though I have completed several quests for them, the Growth decides to declare war on me and sends 3 full armies complete with tier 4 units (this is round 20ish) and attacks me in the north. (Thought it was a glitch the first time) So I play as the Dvar, Amazons declare war on me and i send my armies to defend one of my southern cities. ![]() ![]() I am now quitting my second campaign in a row because of this. ![]()
